The Center Science and Innovation for Development has now completed the assessment of the university to society collaborations in
Albania and presented the findings of the research in a public event on the 24th November 2021, at 10:00 as a hybrid event at Rogner Hotel and online over Zoom. This event brought together the actors of the Quadruple Helix according to the model of the European Union to discuss how the cooperation between university and business, policymakers, civil society, and media can be further strengthened in Albania.

In addition to the opening remarks by the USIA Project Leader, Ms Albana Tole, Deputy Minister of Education and Sports from the
Ministry of Education and Sports as well as Ms Xheni Sinakolli, Programme Officer at EU Delegation to Albania, Dr. Blerjana Bino
presented the key findings of the research conducted by SCiDEV with a particular focus on the recommendations. This was followed by a panel discussion with representatives from key stakeholders in order to understand better current initiatives and also to engage in a dialogue for further promotion of the Quadruple Helix Model. We heard interesting and valuable input from representatives from the National Resource Center for Civil Society, EU for Innovation Project, PACEP Project, private sectors such as Balfin Group, and media such as A2 CNN Affiliate in Albania.
